Kim, a native of Syracuse, NY, joined My Chef Shirley in January of 2017, but has been preparing for this opportunity while raising her three always-hungry boys.
She has a BS in Biology from SUNY Albany and a MS in Pathology from Albany Medical College. Kim owned a small business in Torrance, CA called Kim’s Carrot Cake. She studied food safety at Bucks County Community College in Newtown, PA, while an adjunct professor of Biology. She is ServSafe Certified and a member of the United States Personal Chef Association.
When not cooking, Kim is active in Boy Scouts of America, having recently been honored for her volunteer leadership with the 2017 Patriot District Award of Merit.
